Since the 1950s, Mustang Baseball has established itself as a powerhouse in Southern California. From dominant runs in the Pioneer, Bay, and Ocean Leagues to consistent CIF appearances in every decade, our program is built on a foundation of winning.

The Division I Pipeline

We don't just play high school baseball; we prepare athletes for the next level. Since 2010 alone, 60+ Mustangs have committed to premier Division I programs, including:

• Powerhouse Programs: UCLA, USC, and LSU.

• Top West Coast Contenders: San Diego State (SDSU) and UC Irvine (UCI).

 

Mustangs in the Pros

Our alumni are currently making their mark across Major League Baseball. We take immense pride in seeing our players trade their Mustang green for professional jerseys...Chase Meidroth (Chicago White Sox), Kyle Karros (Colorado Rockies), Jared Karros, (Los Angeles Dodgers - 2022 Draft Pick), Petey Halpin (Cleveland Guardians), Merrick Baldo (Washington Nationals), Sean Isaac (Past MLB Pitcher) and The Original Trailblazer (1962–1966), Joe Moeller (Los Angeles Dodgers).

The Next Era

Under the leadership of Coach Diver and his staff, the program has entered a new era of elite development. Since taking the reins in 2023, the coaching staff has intensified the focus on player exposure and high-level training, ensuring that the spotlight remains firmly on our talented student-athletes. The 2026 Team features players committed to UCLA, Santa Clara, Navy, Sacramento State and Beloit College.
