The Program

The Diver Era: A Standard of Excellence

Since taking the helm in 2022, Head Coach Andy Diver has elevated Mustang Baseball to new heights. Entering the 2026 season, the program has evolved into a premier destination for elite player development, blending veteran experience with a relentless pipeline of young talent.

Coach Diver’s impact was immediate, leading Costa to a Bay League Championship in his inaugural season. Under his leadership, the program has solidified a "whole-player" philosophy—establishing a culture where success in the dugout is matched only by success in the classroom and the community. As we hit the diamond this year, the goal remains the same: competing for championships while preparing our student-athletes for the next level of life and baseball.

The Mustang Philosophy

“Show up, work hard, and play smart—not only on the field, but in the classroom and in life.”

— Andy Diver, Head Coach

Why 2026 is the Year of the Mustang:

  • Proven Leadership: Four seasons of consistent growth under Coach Diver’s staff.

  • Elite Development: A specialized focus on transitioning high school standouts into D1 and Professional prospects.

  • Championship Culture: A program built on the grit and tradition of Manhattan Beach.
